action user_register called?

    I’m running a multisite network and use the plugin to sync users between two sites. The goal behind this is to have synced subscriber list for my newsletter. The newsletter plugin that I am using adds new users directly to the newsletter subscriber list. For that it is using the user_register hook.
    But it does not work if a user is added by the WP Remote Users Sync Plugin.
    So my question is, if it is even calling user_register? I’m kinda confused because I thought a new registration does always so.

    Hi @jonase ,

    Apologies for the late reply, I have kept my involvement to bug fixes lately due to a lack of free time.

    WPRUS uses the core WordPress function wp_insert_user doing creation sync, which in turns calls the user_register hook. It seems like the issue is somewhere else.
