 * I’m using Joel Bennett’s acronym replacer plugin and have a question – is it
possible, when listing the acronyms to be replaced, to set it so the text output
itself is changed? I ask because I primarily use my acronym replacer for nicknames,
and if someone is nicknamed something hella long, I don’t want to have to type
that out every time. I would like to be able to type :Josh: and have it output*
insert nickname here* (no asterisks, of course) as an acronym. Is this doable?

 * You could use the Text Replace plugin: [http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/29/plugin-text-replace/](http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/29/plugin-text-replace/)
