# Ack! Database is dead!

 * Is there any way to recover from this? I don’t have a database backup. 🙁 When
   I log into WP and go manage my posts I get:
 * WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from table handler]
    SELECT * FROM wp2_posts
   WHERE 1=1 AND (post_status = “publish” OR post_author = 1 AND post_status != ‘
   draft’ AND post_status != ‘static’) GROUP BY wp2_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date 
   DESC LIMIT 0, 15

 * Thanks, I already have a ticket in. I was just panicking! Didn’t do my usual 
   research before I posted.
