Not in this version, but this sort of thing will be seriously considered for a future release.

I would just like to second a very strong desire to see this implemented.

For our community, this is a much needed feature.

Right — but it would have taken another four months for me to finish all of the BP integration if I’d have waited for that, before releasing the first version 🙂

I would very much like to have the achivements viewable
on BuddyPress user profiles, in some future update.
    PLEASE, PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!

I am a huge fan of Achievements for WordPress,
and I understand it would be difficult to undertake this
suggested update, but I strongly believe it to be worth the effort.

Please keep this in mind. There appear to be some interest in this.

Thanks for such an awesome plugin! It is amazing!

It is definitely going to happen but I have pretty limited time right now, and I want frequent releases. For example, I’ve got almost 2 weeks before I do some travelling — can I get the BuddyPress integration built in that time? Probably not. 🙂

I am just relieved to hear that this feature will be added at all!
Thank you so much! This makes “Achievements” so much more helpful
for those of us using BuddyPress! Thanks so much! 🙂

I decided to work on BuddyPress integration for the next release, 3.2.
Achievements will integrate into the profile template, and add activity entries.

Thanks! Great to hear! That’ll be mighty helpful
to those of us running both “Achievements” and “BuddyPress”
on our websites! I can’t wait until 3.2!
When do you think you’ll be ready to launch 3.2 ?

I’m sorry to have to bother you,
but at this point, would you have an estimate
of how much longer it would take you
in order to complete the BuddyPress integration,
and launch the updated version of “Achievements”?
I’m very eager to see the profile and activity stream updates.

3 weeks ago, it was said ” I’ve got almost 2 weeks before I do some travelling “. You can guess that’s going to be at least a week, add that to Easter holiday’s, then add a week (min) to be nice and that’s what I would like. Then remember it’s something for nothing and we must be humble and then add an estimated two weeks to do the work, my guess would be another 5 or 6 weeks min.
    Just guessing!

So, I did about 75% of the BP integration on the flight home on my trip. It’s up on Github: https://github.com/paulgibbs/achievements

It seems to work pretty well, so go for it; if you find any issues, let me know and I’ll work to fix them. I haven’t built Activity Stream support just yet, but everything else is in.

    Thanks for the update!
To be honest though, the Activity Stream support
was really what I was looking forward to seeing most.
    I’m in no immediate rush,
I was just curious about how much progress you’d been able to do.

I will eagerly await the release of 3.2 !

    Thanks for the update!

3.2’s out now, with the activity integration 🙂

Thanks, but how will existing websites be able to update?
Achievements requires a version of WordPress not available
to the general public. Please, is there any way to make this update compatible with the current stable version of WordPress, 3.5.1?
I’m really sorry to be dragging you down, I know you work very hard on this plugin, but updating to this new plugin version is very difficult, if not impossible, for me and other users.

The current version should work fine with WordPress 3.5+. I just don’t want to provide people for support running older versions of WordPress as the new version will be out within a few weeks hopefully (and it saved me updating the file info later).

    🙂
