    We are interested in trying out your plugin. We saw there are quite a few add-ons for compatibility out there. What we wanted to know is if there is any way your plugin (with or without add-ons) is compatible with ACF Gutenberg blocks that have an image uploader in them. We created a custom theme for our multisite website, that has many custom ACF gutenberg blocks in order to insert images. We have used other plugins to distribute our posts accross the network. but none of them work with these because it references an image ID and not a url.

    Thank-you in advance!

    If you have gutenberg blocks with image IDs in them, you’ll be needing the Gutenberg Attachments add-on to detect the IDs have them modified on each blog.

    Thank-you for the answer. Do you have a refund policy in case it doesn’t work as expected after we purchase it?

    Here are the terms of purchase: https://broadcast.plainviewplugins.com/terms-of-purchase/

    Although it’s always easier (for my users) to just write me an e-mail saying that something doesn’t work and I’ll just either fix it or add support for it. 🙂

    @edward_plainview so we installed the plugin, got the control pack, activated the “gutenberg attachment” add-on and it does not port over the images to the children websites. I am doing anything wrong? Just a reminder that these are custom ACF blocks

    How have you set up the GB attachments add-on, and how does one of your complete blocks look like?

    I’m interested to see where the attachment ID is, and what its key in block is.

    Hi edward,

    I activated the attachment add-on via the add-on page in the multisite admin.

    Here is a copy of a post made with these blocks:

    <!-- wp:acf/post-photo {"id":"block_604fdef09d74d","name":"acf/post-photo","data":{"image":155124,"_image":"field_602b2f2f8ab52","caption":"","_caption":"field_602b2f2f8ab8e","margin_bottom":"100","_margin_bottom":"field_602c4c629940a","margin_bottom_mobile":"70","_margin_bottom_mobile":"field_602c4c829940b","full_width":"0","_full_width":"field_602c54387cf0e","max_outer_width":"","_max_outer_width":"field_602c5455e5e45","image_alignment":"left","_image_alignment":"field_602c5cfb9c757","max_image_width":"","_max_image_width":"field_602c5d5167d2c"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->

    and this is how the post looks like when broadcasted to another site:

    <!-- wp:acf/post-photo {"id":"block_604fdef09d74d","name":"acf/post-photo","data":{"image":155124,"_image":"field_602b2f2f8ab52","caption":"","_caption":"field_602b2f2f8ab8e","margin_bottom":"100","_margin_bottom":"field_602c4c629940a","margin_bottom_mobile":"70","_margin_bottom_mobile":"field_602c4c829940b","full_width":"0","_full_width":"field_602c54387cf0e","max_outer_width":"","_max_outer_width":"field_602c5455e5e45","image_alignment":"left","_image_alignment":"field_602c5cfb9c757","max_image_width":"","_max_image_width":"field_602c5d5167d2c"},"align":"","mode":"preview"} /-->

    it seems the image id remained the same in both cases.

    It looks like you should have a Broadcast Gutenberg Attachment block set up.

    Name: acf/post-photo
    Attribute: image

    After that, broadcasting should work just fine.

    If not, enable Broadcast debug mode, broadcast the post to one blog, and then send me the debug text to read through: edward@plainviewplugins.com

    Hi edward,

    seems i didn’t notice the settings for add-on, i thought it would work right out of the box. I added the block and it works now, thanks so much, you are a life saver!

    Indeed, the various gutenberg / shortcode Broadcast add-ons have settings in order to allow for maximum flexibility. Not all block names are the same, and the ID is not always stored in the “image” field. 🙂
