    Hello,

    How do I only send the Ultimate Member Account Welcome Email when a user registers using an Ultimate Member form?

    Currently, if I register using another plugin I have, the user is still sent the UM Account Welcome Email even though I did not register the user with a UM form.

    Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help! =D

    Hi @qeyduey

    What version of UM are you using? The latest version doesn’t trigger the Welcome Email when you don’t use the UM Register form.

    Regards,

    Hello @champsupertramp,

    We are using version 2.0.56.

    We do not want to update currently as we are happy with everything as it is and we understand that there are some major changes in version 2.1 that may cause some compatibility issues for us.

    Is there anyway we can cancel out a line of code to stop this behavior from happening?

    Hi @qeyduey

    You will need to determine which action hook fires after the user register with the third-party plugin so that you can remove the UM filter with the following code snippet:

    remove_action( 'um_post_registration_approved_hook','um_post_registration_approved_hook', 10, 2 );

    Regards,

    Thank you, @champsupertramp!

    One more quick question. It’s not really pertaining to this ticket, but I figure it easier to ask here instead of opening a new one.

    Can you please explain to me what the “Hide from queries” checkbox option does in the UM Content Restriction meta box? I know there’s a tooltip that pops up explaining, but I still do not understand it.

    Hi @qeyduey

    It hides the post/page from the archives, RSS feed, etc.
