We set up our website and it was going all good but in the process of passing from http to https we suddenly lost the account. Now not only we can’t access the website but we can’t access the account we were using in wordpress at all, it’s like our username (had to create a new one only to access the forum) completely disappeared. Looks like a starter site with your hosting service. * You may want to ask them about it. * Edit: Also, your account for your WordPress site stays on your WordPress site. It doesn’t translate here, to the forum, or to any other site. I can still access my hosting service (cDmon), and it doesn’t seem to be an issue on their side, but I am opening a ticket with them to check, just in case. I;m thinking that it could be that I hadn’t created the SSL correctly, but now not only I can access my website, I can’t even access the editor to turn it back to http. It cannot log you into your own site. It cannot log you into any WordPress site elsewhere. It only logs into this community and the associated properties. * Additionally, it doesn’t know your email address because your own site will know that, but it does not share it with us. Creating a WordPress install somewhere does not create an account here on wordpress.org. Even though the login screens look the same across more or less all WordPress sites, they’re not the same, and you should look closely at the URL bar in your browser when you log in, lest you inadvertently give somebody the password to your own site.
