  • Hi gmatsushima,

Sorry, we didn’t quite understand what you meant. Did you mean loading a [ultimate-faq] shortcode inside of a preexisting FAQ?

Not a problem, my apologies for any confusion .. I’ll elaborate a bit more, hopefully this helps.

Say you have 4 main tabs (tab 1, tab 2, tab 3, and tab 4) – and say under tab 1 I’d like to have an accordion or subset of tabs within tab 1 – is this possible?

So if tab 1 is “Appliances” – the subset will be ‘Microwave’, ‘Stove’, ‘Refrigerator’, etc.

    Hi gmat,

It sounds like you want to enable “Group FAQs by Category” (in the “Ordering” area of the “Settings” tab). That will make it so that it first lists all the FAQ categories, which can then be toggled open to show each FAQ in that category.

    Thank you for your response.

I’m wanting to confirm if your plugin has the capability to have ‘nested tabs’ like here – are you able to view this image? https://www.screencast.com/t/9i91QTA9hQ

The following (via your demo) is also very close to what we’re looking for. Is this only available via WooCommerce integration or available without WooCommerce and via free version? Notice the two red arrows. https://www.screencast.com/t/lf1Cc0CTkOQ

I look forward to hearing from you, thanks again for your time and help!

    Hi gmat,

Unfortunately, nested tab functionality is currently not available in our plugin. We look forward to implementing something like this in future.

Also, the 2nd screenshot shows the Woo-commerce integration with the FAQs. This is a premium feature available in the plugin. When you enable this feature, FAQs for a given product are displayed as an extra tab on the WooCommerce product page.

Thank you for your responses and help thus far.

My apologies, a couple more questions:
(Feel free to direct me also to a link/resource listing out all the features in your ‘free’ version)

Does the ‘free’ version have …

    1. a search capability via ‘FAQ’ (separate from a website search) .. for e.g. able to ‘search’ a topic/keyword via FAQ
    2. any content limitations? For e.g. able to add images, videos, lists in an accordion or tab?

    Thank you,
    gail

    Hi Gail,

    1) The search function is only available in the Premium version of the plugin.

    2) You can add any sort of content you like, such as formatted text, images or videos.
