Support » Plugin: Essential Addons for Elementor » Accordion styles reset by update

  • Resolved stuart

Just updated to v4.6.2 today and I notice it seems to have reset the styles I had assigned to the Accordion element. I use the accordion element twice on each of about 85 pages on the site, so not really an option to go into each one and reset all the styles!

The accordion used to have a white background on the Tab header and a white background for the content when the tab was opened. These styles have been reset so the tab header and the content background are now essentially blank and just showing the section background colour.

I’ve seen a few responses to similar posts that suggest clearing the cache, or regenerating the assets, but I’m unclear if this will do anything to the content. At the moment I could just about live with an unwanted style change, because the content is working. What I couldn’t deal with is the content breaking in any way. So perhaps you could clarify the results of regenerating assets.

As a fall back, could I add some custom CSS to the theme to reset the tab and content background colours?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lone-walker,

I can understand your concern and I’m making sure that regenerate assets won’t break anything or do any unwanted changes.

Actually after plugin updates, sometimes assets like CSS/JS don’t load properly. So in that case we suggest performing regenerate assets to make sure assets are loading properly. Also, you can use custom CSS anytime according to your requirements.

    I hope you understand. Thanks!
