    Hi all,

I’m having an issue I displaying accordion blocks in MS Edge.

I found them all open in Edge and there seems no way for me to close them.

In Firefox and Chrome no issues with it. Btw – the block collection is great, especially accordions look nice, that was the reason I moved from a different one.

Looking forward to any tips what I can do on my side and to any updates from the plug-in.

    Cheers, Rob

    Hi @rob-cale,

Sorry to hear that you are having an issue here. Getting a look at your site and inspecting the network activity I see that the MS Edge polyfill is not loading on your site. There is an optional setting to enable accordion functionality in MS Edge. Get a look at this screenshot to see what I am referring to.

First, click the block navigation button in the top left of the editor and then select the parent/accordion block. At that point, you should see the option to load an Internet Explorer and Edge polyfill. Enable this to make sure that your accordion respects your settings in all browsers.

Please let me know what happens when you take these steps.

    Best regards,

    Anthony

    Hi Anthony,

I had no idea of this activation option, thanks for the explanation, I changed it and now it works 🙂

B.t.w. – is there a possibility to alter the colour and/or shape of the triangles in edge when they are closed?

    Hi @rob-cale,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you regarding styling the arrows. We construct the Accordion block using HTML5 <summary> tags which provide the arrow styling. It is handy to have the consistent animating experience across most major browsers but sadly this feature lacks support for the Edge browser. You can learn more about these tags and see the compatibility chart here: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_summary.asp. Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Anthony
