Support » Fixing WordPress » accidently messed up all my files

  • votps

I’ve downloaded “file manager” plugin, i wanted to find from some tutorials to make numeric page navigation instead of “older post” thing.

So anyway I moved some folder inside another folder, I didn’t even notice what, so stupidly i pressed “back”, and now all my website has gone to hell.

I have access to my files from bluehost, but i have no idea even what i did mess up.
I moved some folder i dont know, to other folder i dont know.

So i wondering if there is any way to restore it? i didnt download any restore program but maybe there is some magic trick i am not aware of that can make a restore?
If not where or how can i hire some proggrammer to look into my files maybe? i only need him to move back some folder. i dont know if its even some thing i should do since i need to give him the password for the account, and he possibly can scam me.

    Any advice?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Does your host store backups of your site? (you can ask them to restore latest)

You can download the zip file of WordPress (same version as you have), and extract it on your computer. Then compare that to what is on your host (using your host File Manager or an FTP program like Filezilla). And you will find the folder to move back.

Ok i hired a programmer on fiber he fixed the issue manually by moving back this folder.
