• I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here’s my problem. My website is toiletbowlmartini.com. I use Fantastico to install wordpress on my domain. Today I went in Fantastico to see if I could update wordpress to the latest version, but I accidentally clicked on Remove. It brought me to a warning page, and I about $#!+ my pants. I clicked my browser’s back button, then went to my site, and it’s giving me an error (if you click on my link you should see it.) I checked in cpanel and as far as I can tell all my files and databases are still there (of course I may be wrong). Is there something I can do? Or do I need to start over from scratch? Or should I contact my webhost (HawkHost)?

Here’s the error message you get from going to my site:

Warning: require(/home/visualbo/public_html/toiletbowlmartini/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/visualbo/public_html/toiletbowlmartini/wp-settings.php on line 19

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/visualbo/public_html/toiletbowlmartini/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/visualbo/public_html/toiletbowlmartini/wp-settings.php on line 19

Sorry for the double post, but my edit button is gone. My blog is still pretty new, so if I had to start out from scratch that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, but is there a way I could at least recover my posts?

Check if the database is still there. if it is, then yes. You can manually reinstall the files and point them to the DB. If the database is gone, then not unless you had a backup.
