  • You can change the WordPress Address (URL) & Site Address (URL) in various ways without access to your WordPress Dashboard.

Thanks, but do I have to have my site linked to wordpress.com, because right now I am just using my web hosting company and can’t seem to find some of the things mentioned in the article.

If you have installed the website on hosting, then no – it’s nothing to do with wordpress.com.

Which web hosting company are you using? What is it you can’t find? Is it the phpMyAdmin tool for example? You would need to ask your hosting company where to find it, or maybe check the email instructions they sent you when you joined, or read the support section on their website.
