 * Hi – I’ll save you from the long explanation for why I did this, but I changed
   the document root for a subdomain (in the Modify a Subdomain section of cPanel
   >Subdomains) and of course discovered that I could no longer get into my site.
 * I changed it back, and my site was restored but I can no longer see the full
   WordPress CMS. The only options I have are to view the Dashboard, but this only
   contains activity and WordPress Events and News, and my Profile.
 * There is nothing else in the left-hand side menu, and when I go to my site the
   All of my plugins are gone, the editing bar that’s usually at the top is totally
   gone.
 * I would appreciate it so much if someone could help me fix this!
 * Thank you,
    Shannon

 * Wow, that’s a lot of stuff going on. I’ll just suggesting [updating/resetting permalinks](https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Choosing_your_permalink_structure).
   You could also try [replacing/reinstalling core files](https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update).

 * [@stanordan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/stanordan/), thank you so much!
   I’ll try both of your suggestions.
