 * I accidentally deleted the footer copyright information at the bottom of my locally
   hosted site and now the featured ads slider no longer works. Can someone please
   tell me how to restore this, or is there a way to restore a previously dated
   setting for my template, without having to start over?

 * You should be able to reinstall the theme (switch to another one, delete the
   one you messed up and then install it again) – BUT if you have modified theme
   files, you will lose those changes. Better to avoid modifying theme files in
   the first place, BTW – see:
 * [https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
 * OR download a new copy of your theme and replace just the file or code you messed
   up.
