  • Hi,
I am blind, so use a screen reader to access my computer and my site. I find editing the existing content pretty easy, but the problem comes when I want to delete content sections entirely, or delete parts of them.
The settings, show in menu, and delete items on each section are clickables, and generally screen readers don’t work well with those. It would be better if they could be standard links, or if not, if they could be marked up with aria to act like links to screen readers.
Second, when I want to remove one (or more) of the example testimonials, for example, I can’t find any way to do that. I do see three unlabelled links below each section, so perhaps that has something to do with that? In any case, those links should really be labelled if possible, and also a clear delete button, if not already part of the links, should be added for screen reader users.
Thanks for the great theme, and I look forward to hearing from you! :-).
    -Michael.

  • Hi Michael,

I’m glad you like the theme! And thanks for reporting these issues.

To be completely honest, we haven’t tested the user interface for compatibility with screen readers. We’ll have to do that and come up with an update.

    Hey,
I totally understand :-). I just am happy you’re willing to work on it 😀 — many companies or individuals would say they don’t have enough time, resources, etc. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for the update and the work you have (and will) put into this! :-).
    -Michael.
