 * We are having an issue with the donation edit field (where you can enter a custom
   amount) not having an accessible label for screen readers (for people with limited
   sight).
    Can that label be added? thanks deb

 * Hi there,
 * Apologies for the delay. I think I know what the issue is, but I need a little
   clarification.
 * Currently on your site, you do NOT have the custom amount enabled. And I don’t
   see a `<label>` there — but that’s by design because the `give-amount` is not
   an actual input.
 * But if you did enable the Custom Amount option, you should absolutely see a hidden
   label. You can see that here on our demo page:
    [https://givewp.com/demos/payment-gateway/](https://givewp.com/demos/payment-gateway/)
 * And just to clarify, you mean the “Give Amount” field, that’s at the very TOP
   of the form, correct?
 * Either way, if I misunderstand at all, let me know because I’ll make sure we
   get it addressed either way.
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for the reply Matt. Since I hadn’t heard back, we disabled the custom
   amount. We had to have the site fully accessible before we launched.
 * I will have my tech guy who has a screen reader for people who are blind have
   a look at your demo. He will be able to tell me if that field has an accessible
   label. I can get back to you after that.

 * Hi Matt,
    I received the below from my IT guy. Can you take a look, please, and
   get back to me? thanks! deb
 * Below are two screenshots of the section of the page and code where the issue
   is, as well as the JAWS forms list showing the form fields on the page. The screen
   reader (JAWS) only reads “$ edit” when the edit box is in focus, leading me to
   believe that it does not have a label that is accessible by the screen reader.
   While it is usable with a screen reader such as JAWS or NVDA, the exact purpose
   of the edit field is not 100% clear.
