# Access to …./xmlrpc.php

 * Over the past few days a particular IP has made requests to my xmlrpc.php file.“
   Block access to the XML-RPC server (including Pingbacks and Trackbacks)” has 
   always been enabled. The first 2 requests were blocked by Cerber but the next
   2 were allowed.
 * Log is as follows:
 *     ```
       06/02/2018, 12:16 pm 	.../xmlrpc.php   POST XML-RPC HTTP 302 Found 493 ms  77.68.13.238
   
       06/02/2018, 12:58 am 	.../xmlrpc.php   POST XML-RPC HTTP 302 Found 472 ms 77.68.13.238
   
       03/02/2018, 12:45 pm 	.../xmlrpc.php   POST XML-RPC HTTP 404 Not Found 704 ms Attempt to access prohibited URL 77.68.13.238
   
       02/02/2018, 6:26 pm 	.../xmlrpc.php   POST XML-RPC HTTP 404 Not Found 711 ms Attempt to access prohibited URL 77.68.13.238
       ```

 * Yes, the plugin does not block visitors from browsing the public part (public
   pages) of your site.
