[resolved] Access rights Edit Events reverts to default (8 posts)

I'm having a problem changing the Access Rights. All of them seem to work fine, except for "Edit Events". No matter what I change it to, it keeps reverting back to the "Edit others posts" selection. I've even tried altering the default selection in events-manager.php and it still won't allow me to select another permission. There were no error codes.

Is there anything else I can do to change this?

I can't believe I missed that: I accidentally deleted a "t" in events-manager.php, resulting in "eme_cap_edit_evens" instead of "eme_cap_edit_events", so the option never registers and thus can't be changed.

    This should fix it:

but just searching in events-manager.php for "eme_cap_edit_evens" will help you :-)
After that: deactivate/reactivate the plugin for the option to register again.

Btw: I'm going to release a new version with some more small bugfixes.

Sweet! But some bad news first. The change in settings sticks now, but non-admin with the selected capabilities still don't have an edit option.

I tried replacing the old code segment with the new one, just adding the missing "t", and also replacing the entire events-manager.php with the updated file.

Weird, I just tested it here locally and all works just fine. But make sure you also have the "List events" capability added for those users, otherwise you have the right to update events, but not to list them (see the changelog for version 1.0.6 about that)

I'll add an extra warning in the Settings window for this capability in the next version, so people should be more attentive about this one :-)
