• I am developing a site in parallel with another pair of coders off site. I am the admin of the site (superadmin even).

About a week ago, I could no longer access the HTML editor from the dashboard. I could also no longer access the plugins area. I still have my other admin privileges (users, full content editing abilities, etc.) but I can’t see the code nor the plugins. When I click/roll over “Appearance,” “Editor” is no longer an option. The same goes for the plugins. I have tried several different computers as well as different browsers. I am using WP 3.3.1.

I deactivated the plugin folder (using FTP to change its name to plugin.hold), uploaded a new admin and includes folder from a clean install and even tried allocating more memory through the wp-config file.

This happened while I wasn’t working on the site, and the other coders swear they did nothing.

I have run out of options short of a fresh install, which is a last last-option as the site is live and generating views for the client.

    Thank you.
