    I had upgraded to V2 Beta 3 a few days ago and upgraded to Beta 4 using ManageWP (which I’ve been using for a while without any problem). That ended up in ACCESS Denied error for ANY of the admin accounts, i.e., as ADMIN and SUPERADMIN I don’t have any access anymore to the dashboard…

    So I removed the plugin via ftp and installed it newly from the WordPress admin user interface … same result. So at the moment I am without this plugin, which I don’t like, because the plugin did exactly what I needed. 🙂

    How can I fix this?

  • Same here! This is a HUGE problem, I simply updated the plugin and now I am denied access to my own site.

    I tried the fix.php script. It ran successfully but did not solve. Don’t have time to troubleshoot today so i reverted to Beta 3 which can be found on the Developers tab.

    Thank you. It works great now.

    I had the same problem with some user roles and i downloaded the developer version but the problem persists. It didn’t resolved my issue with Access Denied. I have WP 3.8.1-Alpha.
    I have downgraded AAM to Beta 3 and everything seems to be ok now. Would you recheck the Beta4 Version, please?

    still Access Denied. I’ve downloaded the zip file you mentioned and uploaded via FTP.

    Running latest WP 3.8.

    We found another issue and it is already resolved. I’m going to upload the fix within next hour. Please get the development version a little bit later.

    You need to removed that bad beta 4. I just installed it and it locked me out. Glad you have this fix. Please update the auto install version so others don’t have problems.

    I received the same Access Denied notification. Thankfully the link above worked. Please transfer to main download as soon as possible… My security program will be going nuts because parts of files are now different. 😉
