  • hey everyone!

i recently purchased the wp-advanced newspaper theme which comes with 10 or so different skins. i was using firebug at first to quickly make some changes and test things out then when i went to permanently make the changes in the css file, i couldn’t access it through wp’s editor. the only ones that appear are the style.css & custom.css

is there a way to gain access to the different skin’s css file?

    thanks!

  • Have you reviewed the theme directory via SFTP? I believe the editor doesn’t show CSS files if they are in a directory/folder.

yeah the files are in a sub-folder called styles so i tried to take the file of the skin i was using and placed it in the main folder where the styles/custom.css to see if it would show up and it still didn’t.

as of now, i have a copy of the css file on my desktop and i’m making customizations as i’m using firebug. i then save and upload it to my server which is working, it’s just really inconvenient.
