Access created pages directly from cpanel

    Hello

    I have a problem with a plugin which I can’t seem to get help from the plug-in developers for so I am trying to fix this on my own.

    This plug-in’s pages where created upon activation in admin panel where there should be a shortcode within.But there isn’t. I don’t remember if I deleted the original pages and then recreated them or not but that’s how it seems to look.

    WHY: because the page displayed on front-end shows the correct page which belongs that that plug-in but all out on line/wack and I can’t alter it.
    in standard editor I see a blank page with no shortcodes, I tried many different options including adding (just to see what happens) a shortcode and other things on that page and NOTHING in displayed on the front end as it still shows the plug-ins out of line page. I’ve also tried deleting everything including the pages and re-installing it all but that didn’t help.

    So I’m thinking the page being displayed by the plug-in is only using the page title created in admin to show it’s self. If that makes any sense.

    NOW MY QUESTION; I’m wondering if these pages we create in our admin panel, if they can be accessed directly from within my cpanel files where I would then be able to find out exactly what is on that page.

    Unless someone knows of a easier or different method to resolve this issue.

    This is a great plug-in and I don’t want to change it for another one.

    Now I’ve done it.

    Was mucking around with the support page and when I saved it, it gave me this error message

    [This site can’t be reached
    ozyhandyman.com took too long to respond.]

    Now I then went to cpanel and deleted the plug-in in question and hoping it would work but no go. It also affects my main site. I know I need to delete this page but I can’t get in.

    Does anyone know how I get in my WP admin dashboard from there.

    Help is urgent please. Cheers

    Well, the pages are stored in the database, so yes, if you go to cPanel then to phpMyAdmin, you can access them.

    The files in the theme are just a few lines of code.. I wonna find the actual files we are creating or the page all the text is stored into.. Has to be stored somewhere in there or in the database, it just not be any record of what we do anywhere.

    OK I have found the pages in database and removed the pages which I was working on at the time (meaning all pages to do with this plug-in) if that was the issue.

    But it hasn’t changed anything as I still can’t access my site.

    Can anyone help me how knows how to solve this issue please.

    Happy to pay for the service once problem is solved, let me before hand how much you want for the service please though, You have my word both as a gentleman and a future long standing member of WP.

    I can access both your website and your admin page from here without a problem. It takes some seconds to load, but it loads. So what’s your problem exactly in accessing the website?
    BTW, you’ll probably experience a delay between my posts (if we go into a discussion) because my posts are on “automatic moderation”, 😉 because I had a “slap fight” with a couple of mods, so someone’s showing a insane point to be able to hamper me helping people…

    I’m still not accessing either the site or the admin, no matter which browser I use or mobile etc. So you are please tell where from.

    I’ve cleared all my caches on every browser, I’ve removed all to do with the plug-in in question from the database and files.

    I’m at a loss here.

    Any and all help is appreciated.

    I’m from Republic of Srpska/Bosnia and Herzegovina.
    Do you use any security plugin in your WP website? It might have blacklisted your IP. If not, contact your hosting provider, it might have blacklisted your IP. And something else you can try is to use some proxy server (Google for those) to try to access your website (your IP will be different).
    And just another proof that your website IS accessible – https://gtmetrix.com/reports/ozyhandyman.com/woxLPiT8
    When you fix access, you’d need to work on speeding it up. 😉

    And both frontend and backend are still accessible from here.

    Something else just occurred to me. Could you open command prompt on your computer and type tracert ozyhandyman.com (if you’re on Win) then press Enter and then wait for it to finish and post result here?

    Problem has been solved.

    Not sure what it was or how it was fixed as I tried so many thing but something worked and it now works from my end.

    As for blacklisting,, I thought of that but couldn’t find anywhere that may have been and it’s the first thing I checked when I eventually got access. (based on your earlier comment that you where able to see my website it made me think on different reasons and this blacklist was my very first thought) but I wasn’t from I could tell in my admin or server.

    I will look into the speed aspect deeply.

    I do thank you as you have helped as I do take all options given to me and just the fact that you said you could see my website help me fix the issue much faster.
