# Access Control

 * Hi, Franky,
 * you wrote in your “other notes” that “with role “Author” you can only add events
   or edit existing events for which you are the author or the contact person”
    
   Now I want to give some users the right to edit other events than their own but
   not edit any other posts. So the author-role is insufficient, in the adminimize-
   plugin or WPFront Role Editor do not offer a difference between post and event..
   So what to do? Thanks Didi

 * With Role Editor you can create new roles to your liking, and then use those 
   roles in EME.
