 * Is it possible to control who has access to the blog? Example have a log in to
   get access to the content of the blog – or a feature where I accept requests?

 * There are quite a few “members” or “private” blog related plugins that can help
   with limiting access to your registered users. Maybe one of those will spark 
   an idea or two.
