Title: Accent mark Last modified: September 1, 2016 --- # Accent mark * Resolved [rootsman](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rootsman/) * (@rootsman) * [9 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/accent-mark-1/) * Hello, * I’m having issue to use accent marks on any section of wordpress, it doesn’t matter the theme or plugins installed, alway when I use a accent mark the letter is deleted. * Example: I add the word to a page “Estratégico” when update the page is stay as “Estratgico” without the “é”. * The character encoding I’m using utf8, this is set in the wp-config.php. It could be the database or just the way you have things set up.
