^^ thank you very much for that.
also i have another ? that you may know a quick answer too.
i uploaded and installed a theme and i watched a tutorial and redid it a few times to make sure i got it right and the only way i can see my uploaded them is if i type in my full url/wordpress. how can i see it without putting in the /wordpress. i would like to just type in my URL then be able to see my theme.
thanks in advance for any answers
your wordpress installation is not in your main domain. It is in a subdirectory wordpress.
everyone i really appreciate the help. sorry for being such a NooB to all this, but someones got to learn somewhere…
so if i plan on using wordpress to build my site and i want to see what i build with wordpress on my main URL then i just need to put the wordpress file in my main domain and not in a subdirectory. is that correct?
again thanks for all the help! MUCH appreciated.
yes, you need to upload the wordpress files in your main directory, and not in subdirectory. Also, do not upload the wordpress directory itself, only upload the files inside it..
Sorry, if I am confusing you.. 🙂
