    This plugin started off great but it suddenly stops working even with no plugin update, no update of WordPress or Woocommerce and no update of any other plugins or themes causing conflicts. Suddenly, payment methods that were working before stop working unexpectedly and with no warning until a bunch of potential customers contact you because they had issue at checkout. After updating my plugin last night, previously Square, Stripe, Paypal were connected via an OAUTH consent, after updating the plugin, they are connected by explicity entering app ID and secret tokens. There was no notice of that so my payment methods were simply disconnected until I entered the correct keys. Other times, certain payment methods just stopped working. Anything that opens a third party payment screen such as After Pay, Klarna, Cashapp, PayPal, etc (basically everything except for credit card) sometimes collects payment but fails to send webhook status update back to the site showing that the order has been paid, leaving the order in a status of “Pending payment” that never finalizes. This plugin has been nothing but a headache and has caused tens of thousands of dollars in lost sales. Which is a shame because it was promising having all of the payment options in one plugin with a nice UI.

    @hagentertainment,

    Thank you for taking the time to leave this detailed feedback.

    PeachPay supports a broad range of payment gateways and checkout configurations, and occasionally gateway-side changes or store-specific callback conditions can impact how certain payment methods behave.

    In Square’s case, their connection requirements have changed over time, which is why recent versions now rely on direct API credentials rather than the previous OAuth-based setup.

    As for the pending payment status you mentioned with redirect-based methods, we would want to review the exact transaction flow on your store before making any assumptions, as completed customer payments should normally return a finalized order status in WooCommerce.

    Please feel free to contact me directly at vikrant.sant@convesio.com with your store details and a few affected order examples. I would be glad to take a closer look with our engineering team.
