Support » Plugin: Algori 360 Image » About the JS

  • Hello,

Thanks for this great plugin !

    Gutenberg native
    Easy to use

My only issue it’s the heavy JS (852.0KiB) active on all the website.
Is there a way to active it only on the necessary pages?
I know some filters plugin able to do the job, that will be better to embed it natively with this plugin.

About improvement, option, here is my comments:
    – Some auto rotation will be smart for helping visitors to discover that’s a 306Β° content. FB do it with a nice way by example.
    – About size, allowing more than px will be helpful for a nicer website design
    – Adjusting the VR picto choice in the setup will be a nice option, also in a design perspective.
    – Can’t way for a more than one 360Β° by Page πŸ˜‰

Indeed, thanks again, it’s already a great plugin πŸ˜‰

    Bonjour Laurent πŸ™‚

Thank you for appreciating the Algori 360 Image plugin.

Yes, there’s a way to load JS only when the 360 image block exists on a page. We are working on integrating this into the plugin soon.

Some auto rotation will be smart for helping visitors to discover that’s a 306Β° content. FB do it with a nice way by example.

We’ve had a couple of requests for this feature and are working on the best way to implement it. FB has about 3 or 4 ways it informs a user about a 360 image.

About size, allowing more than px will be helpful for a nicer website design

We are working on adding percentages for setting Image Dimensions. In the meantime, you could take advantage of the width alignment options on the block toolbar.

Adjusting the VR picto choice in the setup will be a nice option, also in a design perspective.

Please clarify on what you mean by “VR picto choice”. I’m eager to know the details of this use case and if possible also share an example.

Can’t way for a more than one 360Β° by Page πŸ˜‰

Yes, this is currently in the works. We will be adding it to a future release πŸ™‚

Thanks again for the great suggestions. πŸ˜€

About the VR Picto, I think about the white glasses
    Is it more explicit?:)

In the console, I’ve a minor alert.
I suppose that the Aframe team will take care of that with a new release.

aframe-v0.9.0.min.js?ver=5.2.2:249 [Deprecation] document.registerElement is deprecated and will be removed in M73, around March 2019. Please use window.customElements.define instead. See https://www.chromestatus.com/features/4642138092470272 for more details.

Indeed, have fun with our 360 cam, here it is a common Insta 360 One X πŸ˜‰
