    I have installed the “GIVE” plugin to my website (with Woocommerce installed) and found that there are only name, surname and email address in the created donation form. And I found that there is a billing address field in the back-end for both Donors (just appear in those donors who donated in login status) and Donations. There are several questions:

    1) For Donors billing address, when I login as member and donate for the 1st time, a Donor account will be created (of course the billing address is blank in back-end at that time for both Donor and Donation interface). Then I login as admin and input the billing address for this Donor account. After that I login as this member account and donate again, but I found that for this 2nd donation, the billing address is still blank. Therefore please advice whether the billing address in Donor and Donation are separated and there are no linkage in between.

    2) If I want to add this billing address field to the front-end donation form, please advice whether I can achieve this by buying your add-on “Form Field Manager”.

    Please reply asap as I need to integrate the whole donation issue. Thanks a lot!

    There is a setting to show or hide the billing details depending on the Gateway selected.
    Like if you want to Enable billing details for PayPal Payment Gateway then you can browse to Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways > PayPal Standard and go to Billing Details Settings and then Enable it. So there is a setting for each gateway that you want to add the billing details.

    There is an additional question. I want to add a field “Phone” to the donation form. Can it be done with the Add-on “Form Field Manager”. I would like this “Phone” field share the same logic as the billing address:
    1) For non-member donation, the phone field can be edited in Donations
    2) For member donation, the phone field will be displayed with billing address in both Donor and Donations and it can be edited

    HI @billybilly88 — Form Field Manager will get the field added for you no problem, and you can edit it as well. But it currently cannot add that info directly to the Donor information — only the Donation details.

    We’re working on exactly that thing though. We’ll be able to do that soon.

    One more question, I found that the add-on “Form Field Manager” only includes 1-year license. If I do not renew the add-on after 1 year, can I still use the add-on without support? or I need to renew to keep using? Please advice

    Hi there,

    The moderators of this forum really prefer that all questions regarding paid addons happen on our site, not here. So please keep that in mind in the future.

    But briefly, the annual license is for plugin updates and access to support. If you allow your license to expire, you will not be able to update the plugin again until you renew your license and you will not have access to our Priority Support team.

    But I found 1 more bug on the plugin. After I upgrade the WordPress to the latest version (4.9.2) and the Give version to the latest version (2.0.2), when I login as member and submit the donation form, with billing address input, the billing address will be stored on the donation record, but it does add the billing address to the donor profile. Before my upgrade, the billing address can be added to Donor profile. Please advice.

    HI there,

    We can help you best in our Priority Support channel — I hope you submitted over there.

    But quickly, Give has NEVER saved the address fields to the donor record. They have ALWAYS been stored with the donation. That’s not a bug, that’s the way it is because you are collecting the billing address which is connected to the payment; not collecting the mailing address which would instead be connected to the donor.
