'About Me' text for the homepage

    Hi,

    Really enjoying the theme.

    I’m a big novice when it comes to coding onto wordpress, but have been trying my best with adapting your theme using all the options and some coding.

    I have a question about the homepage, I wish to include a small about me text section, is this possible to add along with the slider? – Just a normal box of text?

    Also, I have seen the ‘featured articles’ on the sample theme – does this appear automatically with more posts being added or is this part of the setting?

    you are probably posting in the wrong place…
    as for the about, it would be just a page you make. Then you can go navigation menu and include on through the dashboard. As for the featured articles, it depends on how theme is making posts “featured” and you would have read documentation or consult the designer. It is usually through a tag/category that posts become featured…

    The featured posts setting is provided by default by WordPress, in the post editor, above publish button

    Thank you both gransar and tizz. I do have an about page already which works absolutely fine.

    Another question: below each of the pages appears two vertical grey lines after the text? There is no space at the end of the post in design view… How do I get rid of this?

    Sorry if these are rather simple questions – thanks for your quick response. Very helpful.
