# About me sidebar

 * Hey my website is [http://www.owlwise.com](http://www.owlwise.com) and I have
   been trying to put the sidebar in for an about me section to appear on the right-
   hand said of my website on every page. I don’t know what’s goin on.
 * I did this:
 * Appearance> Widgets> Main sidebar> edit it to my liking
    Page> template> default
 * Nothing happens.

 * First you have to make sure that the default template is using the sidebar that
   you’re customizing.
 * That will require either reading the theme documentation or looking at the code
   to see what’s going on.

 * are there other widget areas than ‘Main Sidebar’?

 * I’m afraid that this theme does not offer adding a sidebar by default. You need
   to make some changes in the source code to be able to do that, but that is rather
   complicated.
