Support » Fixing WordPress » About Me Box Show Up On Post Pages, Etc…

  • Here’s my website:

    My site is new and I’m trying to fix the glitches. I have three problems at the moment. I’ll mention the third one in another post.

    1) My “About Me” information shows up in a grey box on every post (the page after you click on its link). I need to get rid of that and only have it in the “About Me” link.

    2) At the bottom of my Comment box, there’s text telling those who want to leave a comment what types of codes they can use. Nobody needs that. How do I get rid of it.

    I’d appreciate any help, but mainly help that doesn’t force me to change the code because I’m not good at that.

    1. I’m afraid you’ll need to your hands dirty with some code changes for this one.

    2. Try adding:

    form-allowed-tags {display:none;}

    to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet.
