Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » about long product category descriptions

I asked storefront how to avoid visitors having to read the whole page before finally getting to the products

they told me that Storfront had a good original SEO and that I don’t need to make these long descriptions!

    they replied :
“Storefront’s design has already good SEO out of the box; having the category description before the products is not necessarily better (or worse) than having it after the products.

It is true that the description should be short and concise, so you may want to look into that first.”

I have a complementary question: is it okay for visitors to arrive (thanks to good SEO) and leave “running” because they are asked for pensums: read the descriptions before having access, what they came for, see the products!

    google must see that too!

Side note to @penseelibre I appreciate that you use an online translator but do not copy their link into these forums.

That’s link spam and I have removed it. If that is a condition for using that translator then please use another one.

yes sorry usually I usually remove it, I forgot (the link is automatically set when I copy the translation) and i can see it only when it is publish.

    Hi,

You identified several issues. We have responded to them below.

    1. Long Descriptions
Are you asking if having long or short product descriptions is good for SEO?

2.is it okay for visitors to arrive (thanks to good SEO) and leave “running” because they are asked for pensums: read the descriptions before having access, what they came for, see the products!
We are not sure what is being asked. Can you elaborate more on what the issue is? Can you share screenshots of it? You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image. Can you share a URL that highlights the issue?
