  • I’ve been reading this article on the Codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
I wonder if this is commonly used by users. I know it works, but my concern is if this may prevent the search engine’s robots of going further than the index page.
I would like to know if anyone experimented any kind of problem after this setup process.
Sorry if the question is silly and if this configuration is commonly used.

    Thanks.

  • sren,
its a good idea. especially if you start adding other services to keep things in order. jus keep your .htaccess and index.php in the root, modify the URI in WP admin of the new dir (e.g. ./wordpress) for the blog and away you go. It’s good housekeeping.

    Thanks Leofish!
Good to know that it’s a good thing.
