    Hi,

    I am very new to wordpress but have managed to get my blog up and running.

    I am unable to access the ABOUT link which appears on the right hand column of my blog. It is writing words from my subheading.

    The ABOUT link at the top where my HOME link is I am able to edit. I would have thought they both would have been the same.

    Is anyone able to help me. I hope I have explained myself well enough and not asked a really stupid questions.

    They are not the same:
    a) the About link at the top (next to Home) is a link to Page (as in Pages) that you can edit from admin > Manage > Pages.
    b) in the sidebar there is a call for the blog description
    You should open your sidebar.php in a plain text editor and replace/edit that code
