I suggest you give more details of what the problem is.
Are you using the latest version of WordPress?
Which theme are you using? Have you made changes to the theme? Any child themes?
Where are you trying to put the calendar? Or at what point does it fail?
I suggest this because I am finding it works beautifully.
I created a new Gmail account specifically for the website since it isn’t a personal website.
It was challenging to get the Google api – Google seemed to be acting up that day.
I was confused about how to display the calendar on the home page of my website – but when I realized I had to make one page with just a subject Calendar and in the body of the page, just
[calendar id=”5012″] or whatever ID number is generated.
And then using my 2016 theme, go to Appearance, Menus – drag calendar to your menu.
Works well. I update the calendar by logging into Google Calendar.
