    Hi,

    I wanted to know in what cases the abandoned cart e-mail is being sent. We do have difficulties with Paypal sometimes and the status changes to Pending. Then after a couple of hours the status changes to failed.
    I would like to understand if the abandoned cart mail is sent in these cases or not.

    @ronnie129 I think in this case the cart really isn’t considered “abandoned” – and you would be better suited to use a different automation like an order status update for “cancelled”.

    I totally get how this would be tough – but maybe between a custom merge tag, or adjusting the order before submission might be a good workaround. Either way that would involve some custom coding to accomplish the business logic.
