# Abandoned Backup Plugin?

 * This plugin works perfectly on nearly 60 sites of our own, and I love it. We’ve
   never had a single problem in two years, we’ve used it on client sites too, with
   their own Amazon accounts.
 * I’m posting here because I’m getting nervous with no updates for so long? We 
   rely on it heavily and I don’t want to find out it’s quit working in an emergency.
 * Any plans for an update, or are you done with this plugin? If you’re all done,
   then I know some folks that want to pick up development…

 * We’ve now replaced it with BackWPPup – The developers are keeping updates current–

   It does a good job, w/ lots of options rnging from Dropbox to Amazon

 * +1 BackWPup (at [http://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/)).
 * Automatic WordPress Backup worked well for a while, but began randomly failing
   without notice on some of our larger sites. We just switched to BackWPup have
   have been very pleased thus far.
