First install of the bought Pro Version, I setup Google Calender Sync and Zoom Integration. This worked well. But then, first issue, I could double and triple book the same slot for one staff member. Bookly did recognise Google Calender entires, but not its own bookings. Second, booking user got added as wordpress users well, but not as Bookly user. It wasn’t even possible to add a customer manually from the backend! Unfortunately I ran out of support because I bought this license to long ago and did not use earlier. I thought of buying a second license for another site to get a new support possiblity. But then I investigated some more. The webiste itself is nothing fancy, newly set up, all sound. After I read many hints and experiences of things/problems like this, I decided to quit for good. I have become wise enough to choose my battles. And this is a uphill battle right from the start. Uninstallling and deleting took some time, the Bookly plugin does not clear the database. In fact, in addition to the main tables, there are an impressive number of entries scattered a bit all over the place. So be careful, bet on your luck, maybe I just caught a Monday morning version? The documentation is really excellent, but at least the most basic things have to work, don’t they?

    Hello,

Here are some suggestions to address your concerns:

    1. Please review the staff and service capacity settings in Bookly. If the same time slot is already occupied by a customer and the staff or service capacity is set to a maximum of 1, Bookly won’t allow booking the slot again.
    2. If you’ve enabled the “Create WordPress user account for customers” setting in Bookly, new customer accounts will be generated. You can choose the role for these accounts under this setting. The available roles are determined by your WordPress configuration, and you can use third-party plugins to manage user roles on your website.
    3. In Bookly, under Settings > General > Bookly data upon deleting Bookly items, you can choose what happens to the associated data when you delete Bookly items (Bookly, Bookly Pro, or any Bookly add-ons). If you select “Delete”, all associated data will be permanently removed.
