    Hi,

I recentley upgraded WordPress from 3.6 to 3.8.1.
After that I upgraded from AAM 1.9 to 2.1.1.

AAM screen keeps showing the Loading picture.
Then I saw the “Migration” and tried the migration.
Popup screen shows up and I hit the “Start the migration” link.
After that it starts “Collecting AAM Data”.
That keeps showing there forever (1 hour now). I cannot see anything happening. ssh to the server shows nothing is done there either. No http, no mysql, no cpu usage at all.
    So I guess nothing happens.

What could be the problem here?
It is backend (wp-admin) so I did not include the url.

  • Hi JB,
The migration process should be pretty quick (within few seconds). I believe you have either JavaScript error or PHP error on background.
You can check if your browser triggers any javascript errors as well as server PHP error log.

I also recommend you to make database dump before migration process.

    Thanks Vasyl,

I will look into it using Firebug and server-logs.

We are performing the migration on a test-server, using a fresh backup of the production server. So backups are taken care of.
You put me in the direction, so I will disable plugins one by one to see what happens.

    JB
