Aaaarrgh… WHY??? (Brand New User – Theme demo vs installed))

    If I see a theme I really like and import it into my WP installation, when I activate it, it looks nothing like the theme’s poster image? For instance, this poster (https://i.ibb.co/kM4kmwh/image.png) looks like this (https://i.ibb.co/CwtVWms/image.png) when I import and activate the theme. (sorry, I don’t know how to include images on the forums.)

    I’ve seen this several times where they show me a great-looking layout and landing page and when I import and view it, I find a sparse, bare-bones inside page.

    Is this just a matter of free vs paid versions? Or are the theme’s widgets buried in the theme and I have to try and use the included widgets to reverse-engineer the demo?
