# I can't get the plugin to work

 * Great idea for a plugin… but it doens’t actually work… First of all, I’m having
   real trouble understanding your description (for instance: “Then you set the 
   HTML. [html][/html]“…. what html?)
 * But most importantly: Activating the plugin breaks wordpress…. I get the following
   message:
 * > The plugin generated 19 characters of unexpected output during activation. 
   > If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds
   > or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
 * resulting in this line on my wp-admin page:
 * > Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output
   > started at /public/sites/www.wgwd.nl/gab/wp-content/plugins/wp-supersized-image-
   > map/wp-supersized-image-map.php:72) in /public/sites/www.wgwd.nl/gab/wp-includes/
   > option.php on line 571
 * This only dissappears when I deactivate the plugin.
 * I have really been looking around to do just what your plugin promised. I was
   very happy when I found it, hoping to be able to give you a five star review…
   But as it is now I’m not even going to try to get it working… Unless off course,
   there is a simple solution?
 * Thanks though for your effort, the idea is brilliant. Have you got it working
   on a site somewhere?

 * OK, so I called jQuery in my header.php and now the plugin shows up. Still the
   first mentioned error shows up but it works.
 * Also I now understand that your description page just states what you have done
   in the plugin, so I don’t have to take all those steps… right?
 * Next step: Where do I put my images, and where / how do I define my image maps?
   I don’t see how in your admin page I add images. I can add items, but there’s
   no upload-popup or anything like it showing (also, here too I get an error message).
 * Any tips?
