A widget to display custom fields from a selected post.

    I want to write a multiple use widget that lets me choose a post and then it displays set custom field values from that post. Are there any plugins that provide this already? I tried a search and came up with nothing. Alternatively, can anyone start me off in the right direction with widget code?
