[resolved] A way to turn off plugin for all particular custom post types? (2 posts)

I have a website with many different custom post types that I do not want a plugin loading on. Is there a way to set the plugin to not load on all instances of a particular custom post type instead of having to go to every post individually and turn off the plugin?

If the custom post type has a particular slug then yes. For instance lets say you have a post type that has the slug custom_post. The url for one of these posts would be http://www.yourdomain.com/custom_post/single-post/. You could add a plugin filter with the permalink as http://www.yourdomain.com/custom_post/ and check the box to also affect children. Then any of the posts with a url that starts that way would be affected. So a post with http://www.yourdomain.com/custom_post/second-single-post/ or http://www.yourdomain.com/custom_post/third-single-post/ would also be affected. Make sure you have fuzzy url matching enabled on the plugin organizer settings page.
