Support » Plugin: Gantry 5 Framework » A viable framework for non-coders

  • The usual challenge for building websites is not a surprise: either you code or you’re not able to make it the way you want it.
I wouldn’t say Gantry is an obvious choice for a non-coder (which I guess is their primary audience), since it does have a not-that-easy learning curve – for instance, I think dealing with twigs and yamls is not as easy as it’s stated. I don’t think the interface is intuitive either, it really takes some time to get the grasp of it.
Nonetheless, being a non-coder myself, Gantry turned out to be the way to go. It does have many great features, and I couldn’t find any comparable wordpress framework.
Thank you very much for such a great work.
