• I did a lot of homework a year ago comparing and testing ticketing plugins, and I am very happy that I selected finally the Tickera Premium version: A lot of flexibility and features to seamlessly integrate it into our website, complete control over layout, features, settings, outputs, payment gateways, etc. But, most of all, an excellent and responsive support desk, quick to understand what I wanted and how to solve it. Believe me, I have seen a lot of others… Finally, we hosted some 10 events this year, which went very well

Strong points: Ticket ordering process was easy to follow for our visitors, multiple types of tickets for each event, easy to manage once set up, robust with (almost) no bugs. Not locked in to a specific payment gateway, thus avoiding excessive charges.

Watch out for: This ticketing system requires some time to get used to, the number of options are in the beginning overwhelming, better start with a simple (testing) setup before starting with the real stuff. Initially used the Woocommerce add-on, this was becoming too complex and confusing, left that out, and could work perfectly with the other add-ons. I would not recommend this to a first-time website builder with no previous wordpress experience.

Could improve: the list of Tickera add-ons ( in the premium version) each represent a separate WordPress plugin, this quickly fills up the plugin dashboard.

  • Hi, thanks for your post. I’m very interested in Tickera because it seems there are few options if you consider using a ticketing platform from WordPress. Anyway I was trying to find webshops that are currently using Tickera in order to see how it works in real life but couldn’t find any? How can I find such pages?
