I’ve read through the previous thread on “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”… and too scared to try anything at this point. Is there a true fix for this that would not break an entire website?

Its to resolve the notice in the Dashboard for the following:

“1.9.4 Standard is now available. Fixes issues with .ics files export, filtering when calendar is embedded via shortcode, slash symbols polluting some values, all-day event not ending on correct day issue, and .ics files failing to import on some systems.”

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    CK

  • You can do the update manually, but I agree that it is ridiculous to have an upgrade button that has privilege errors.
