• Gutenberg has the potential to revolutionize the WordPress content workflow.

But implementation is a trial and error sort of process…

The problem, from what I’ve observed, is that the devs disregarded some of the more popular plugins people are already using, and do not include sufficient documentation or warnings within the plugin itself to inform users of potential conflicts with other plugins.

Gutenberg is so broken right now, that I cannot even create a new page with Gutenberg enabled. I had to disable it to even see the New Page… page come up.

Does that mean it can’t be fixed? No. The devs who brought us all of the great features of WordPress and beyond can certainly fix this… but it’s going to take time, and a focused intellect to determine which plugins to prioritize compatibility for.

  • Hi there! This plugin is designed for beta-testing Gutenberg before it’s added to WordPress, and there are definitely a lot of unexpected behaviours and bumps in the road when testing pre-release software!

Have you tried Gutenberg again since it’s been released in WordPress itself? We’d love to know if you’re still experiencing the same issues.
