# A Simple Little Problem!

 * Soooooo,
 * Everything is set up and working up until a point.
 * After making a test post in my own word press, I clicked to view site.
 * Instead of bringing up my word press blog, it actually just brought up my site.
 * So instead of bringing up [http://www.domain.com/wordpress](http://www.domain.com/wordpress)(
   like my friends does), it just brings up [http://www.domain.com](http://www.domain.com).
 * Obviously this is totally useless.
 * Any help would be appreciated.
 * **Update** I’m just after typing in [http://www.domain.com/index.php](http://www.domain.com/index.php).
   This successfully showed my blog. Now im thinking that when I hit the ‘view site’
   button on my word press control panel, it looks for the index page, bringing 
   up the index page of my site instead. That couldnt be right though, cause someone
   would surley have thought of that when designing word press.

 * If you want to access your blog as [http://www.sample.com/wordpress](http://www.sample.com/wordpress)
   then put your WordPress files (and folders) in the folder called wordpress and
   make sure your WordPress Address (URL) and Blog Address (URL) in Options-General
   are like [http://www.sample.com/wordpress](http://www.sample.com/wordpress)
 * If you want your wordpress files in a folder called wordpress, but make the blog
   available at [http://www.sample.com](http://www.sample.com) then read [Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory).
